Just sold Via Linda Place retail shopping center

The sale of Via Linda Place, a 24,385 square foot shopping center built in 1987 was just recorded.  The location of the property is the southeast corner of 90th Street & Via Linda in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The property sold to Ocean Breeze- Dawn LLC, a Colorado LLC as part of a 1031 exchange.  The seller was Ed Rapee.  The sales price was $4,959,733, which equates to $203 per square foot.  The building was 100% occupied at closing. The center is anchored by Ace Hardware and also included two freestanding pad buildings leased to Hallmark Cards and Akita Sushi. The buyer plans to do a major renovation of the center and rename it to Via Linda Crossroads.
